Bio
Philip studied Music at Lancaster University before training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
Recent work includes - Express G&S national tour for Charles Court Opera (Offie Award nominated for best Company Ensemble), Colonel Fairfax in The Yeomen of the Guard for the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company, Cavarodossi/Mimi in Tosca and La Boheme at the Trafalgar Studios (Offie Award nominated for best Opera Performance), Mr Snow in Carousel for Opera North at the Barbican, Renato Di Rossi in Do I Hear A Waltz? at The Park Theatre, Alfredo in La Traviata at the Soho Theatre and on tour, KoKo in The Mikado and Dick Dauntless in Ruddigore for Charles Court Opera on tour, Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville for Focus Opera and Rodolfo in Opera Up Close’s Olivier award-winning La Boheme at the Soho Theatre, the Charing Cross theatre and on tour.
Other credits include: Kenneth in the A.A Milne Biopic Now We are Sixty (King's Head Theatre), Will Scarlett Robin Hood, Grendell Beowulf and KoKo Mikado (Charles Court Opera), Hilarion in Princess Ida; Lord Tolloller Iolanthe (International G&S Festival) and The Yeomen Of The Guard at the Tower of London for The Carl Rosa Opera company.
